Like many others, my Blackjack 2's usb jack on the side quit getting a connection. Making it impossible to charge the phone at all! So I had to look for an alternative way to charge the batteries and that's where this Cradle USB Sync comes in! Of course I can't connect the USB Sync to my phone which basically defeats the purpose of the cradle... EXCEPT that it has an external battery charger jointed with it. Which saved my phone! :) I could care less if I can't transfer music onto my phone being that I don't really listen to music on my phone (I have an IPod for that). But being able to charge my battery again made me very happy! This is a great phone & I would have been sad to see it go to waste! This product will not let you down. Especially for the price! :)

I haven't had this for more than a week. the charger works fine but the battery is terrible. i put the battery in my phone and charged it all night. the next day i unplugged my phone and stuck it in my pocket. 4 hours later i look at my phone to see how the battery was, it was dead. don't buy this just for the extra battery.

The battery charger part stopped working after about 3 months. The phone charger part still works, but half of the backing on the plug has fallen off, so I doubt it will keep working much longer. This thing is also so bright that it is like sleeping with a nightlight on. I have to throw my flat bill over it just to sleep!

My new at&t blackjack II charger port stopped working in 2 months and I could not find a way to get it charged. It seems like this is a big problem with the Blackjack II model. I searched and found this product, I was skeptical because the photo of the cradle with the cord coming out of the phone confused me, but it was my only hope. To my suprise it worked great! Instead of using a conventional charger for my phone, I just plug the charging cradle into my outlet and charge the battery that came with the cradle. The light turns from red to green when it has finished charging. In the meantime, I always have the original battery in the phone and when the battery starts going low, I just swap them out. This product was a life saver! Its easy to use and you always have a place to cradle your phone thats not directly on your desk or nightstand. I highly recommend, its a great solution at a great price!
